"Hairspray," July 15 and 16, 6-8 p.m., SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 S. State, Orem.
Prepare 16 bars of a Broadway or early 1960s-style song — do NOT audition with a song from "Hairspray." No appointment necessary. An accompanist will be provided as well as a CD player or iPod playback. Needed are singers and dancers — there will be no "dance only" roles.

"The Drowsy Chaperone," July 17, 9 a.m.-noon, Hale Centre Theatre, 3333 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City.
All roles are open to actors 21 and older. Come prepared with 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. No taped music or minus tracks.
