SALT LAKE CITY — Hogle Zoo will celebrate Christmas in July from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday by gifting animals ice blocks and bringing in Santa.
Kids are invited to see Santa in his summer attire in the Oasis Plaza. Guests can watch the animals receive their icy gifts (orangutans at 10 a.m., gorillas at 11 a.m., primate forest at 1 p.m. and elephants at 1:30 p.m.).
Guests also will be able to take part in an "ice dive" sponsored by Today's KOSY and the zoo, as competitors search through thousands of ice cubes for prizes.
