PROVO — Searchers found the body of a missing Fruit Heights man Wednesday on the west side of Utah Lake.

Luciano Trujillo, 54, was discovered at 6:30 p.m. about a mile south of where police found his car earlier in the day in the Nutty Putty caves area, said Davis County Sheriff's Lt. Brad Wilcox.

Crime scene investigators examined the car, but there were no "immediate indications of foul play," Wilcox said.

Trujillo was last seen June 30 when he told his family he was going to drive to Washington to give his daughter a wedding gift.

Police classified Trujillo as missing and endangered because he suffered from kidney disease and bipolar disorder.

The Utah County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death.
