Table Talk: Food news in Utah
Sydney Atwood, a 50-year-old mother of three from Sandy, will be featured in Nutrisystem's national TV ads, along with spokeswoman Marie Osmond. Atwood lost 66 pounds on the diet program. The ad, including before-and-after photos, will begin airing this week.
Market Street fish markets are having a lobster sale July 2, 3, 4 and 5. Whole cooked or live Main Lobsters are $10 each (regular $18) at the Cottonwood, South Jordan and University markets (www.ginc.com).
IHOP is partnering with Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's inaugural 3-D CGI feature, "Despicable Me." Since the movie features mischievous little "minions," the IHOP chain will offer a Minion Madness menu of items such as Loaded Minion Taters, CinniMinions, Minion Berry Pancakes and Kids CinniMinion Breakfast through Aug. 29 (www.despicable.me).
The St. Regis Deer Crest Resort offers Summer Sundays on the Mountain Terrace. The afternoon events include live music and a menu of locally sourced ingredients including a whole roasted suckling pig.

California Pizza Kitchen at Fashion Place Mall is hosting a fundraiser June 30. One hundred percent of all dine-in pizza sales will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah.
