History Detectives (8 p.m., Ch. 7): Items include a hand-drawn map from WWII, a cane topped by a coiled snake and a theremin — an early electronic musical instrument.

The Good Guys (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Dan violates a suspect's rights, resulting in a drug smuggler being set free.

Persons Unknown (9 p.m., Ch. 5): According to the night manager, someone will be checking out.

The Wall — A World Divided (9 p.m., Ch. 7): A look at the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

Secret Life of the American Teenager (9 p.m., ABC Family): Ricky moves in with Amy's parents to take care of the baby while Amy is away.

Kevorkian (10 p.m., HBO): This documentary about Jack Kevorkian — aka Dr. Death — served as a basis for HBO's excellent movie "You Don't Know Jack: The Life and Deaths of Jack Kevorkian," which starred Al Pacino in the title role. This film introduces us to the real Kevorkian, a much more complicated man than most of us realized — a "provocative painter, composer, quirky inventor and bad movie-maker" in addition to a champion for the right to assisted suicide.
