'The Crazies' among new DVD releases

The documentary "When You're Strange: A Film About the Doors" is a muddled assemblage of film clips of the band.

"Don McKay" (Image, $27.98) — Mystery-thriller starring Thomas Haden Church as a man who becomes involved in intrigue when he returns to his hometown.

"The Eclipse" (Magnolia, $26.98)—★★1/2 — A messy but well-acted mix of mournful drama and "Sixth Sense"-style supernatural horror. Ciaran Hinds stars.

"Hot Tub Time Machine" (Fox/MGM, $29.98)★★1/2 — A sloppy, raucous time-travel farce in the grown-men-gone-wild "Hangover" style. John Cusack stars.
