AMERICAN FORK — An upcoming public hearing will allow American Fork residents to express their thoughts or concerns about next year's city budget.
A hearing regarding the city's 2010–11 budget will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.
The proposed budget calls for the general fund to be reduced by $700,000 and the total budget trimmed by more than $4.3 million, with secondary irrigation and the city's celebration fund taking some of the biggest cuts. No layoffs or property tax hikes have been proposed.
Copies of the budget are available for review at the city offices.
