OGDEN — Three men were arrested early Wednesday after police say they broke into an Ogden home then led officers on a short chase.
About 4 a.m., police officers responded to a 911 call from a resident at 984 28th Street who said there were armed men in the house, said Ogden Police Lt. Danielle Croyle.
The men were armed with handguns and were going through the house taking items, Croyle said.
When police arrived a few minutes after the call, the men fled in a vehicle only to have a tire blow just blocks away. Police chased the men on foot for a short distance before arresting three of the men. Police are still seeking a fourth suspect.
The residents at the home included a boyfriend and girlfriend as well as another female roommate. It is unclear if the victims knew the men but Croyle said the motive appears to be burglary.
No one was hurt during the burglary or chase. The three men were booked into Weber County jail for investigation of aggravated robbery.
