FAIRVIEW, Sanpete County — A Mount Pleasant man was killed early Sunday in a rollover in Sanpete County.
Roy Wesley Walker, 73, was driving northbound on U.S. 89 near Fairview when his pickup truck drifted off the road, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. He overcorrected, rolled the truck and was ejected, the UHP said.
Walker, the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene. Officials said he was not wearing a seat belt, and they do not believe alcohol was a factor.
