Matt Erkelens of Trees Inc. competes Saturday in the work climb during the Utah Community Forest Council/International Society of Arboriculture 16th annual Tree Climbing Championship. Johnny Atkin, owner of Atlas Tree Service, vies in the rescue climb. Thirty-four competitors performed five climbs each.
