CENTRAL, Ariz. — As construction on the Gila Valley Arizona Temple progressed day by day over the past 14 months, so did testimonies, conversions, reactivations and commitments to being worthy to attend the LDS temple.
Since ground was broken Feb. 14, 2009, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in seven stakes comprising the new temple district have seen miracles happen in the lives of people.
"It has been an incredible experience," said Bishop Vaughn Grant of the Pima 4th Ward, Pima Arizona Stake.
