Don't pave over history

I read an article recently about proposed plans to put a Larry H. Miller dealership in Riverdale on the site of the historical Cinedome 70 movie theater. I was appalled at how everyone involved is disregarding the history of this great building. For those of you who don't know, the Cinedome has been a landmark in Riverdale for the past 40 years. In the past decade, it has fallen into disrepair, but even though movies haven't been shown on its screens in nearly a decade, the building still serves as a landmark for people who get off at Exit 349.

I don't think we need another car dealership on Riverdale Road. There are 13 there already and 23 total if you account for those in the Ogden area. Plus, the Larry H. Miller Group already has a dealership in Riverdale. They don't need to pave over history to get a bigger one.
