WEST VALLEY CITY — A 21-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Monday morning.
Just before 7 a.m., Tiffany Lopez had just dropped off a relative at work and was traveling along 5600 West and 4600 South, when her vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup truck head-on, said West Valley Police Capt. Tom McLachlan.
The reason the vehicle crossed over into traffic was still under investigation Monday.
The 40-year-old driver of the pickup was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, McLachlan said.
