Paul Mero's "My View" (April 30) is not as smart as one would hope — and he is the president of a conservative public policy organization, the Sutherland Institute.
If his letter defines a conservative, then I'm not one. Who are these people that are against immigration? I have yet to meet one. I do know a bunch of people who are against illegal immigration. And those same people are against robbery, burglary, muggings, murder and a host of other things that are illegal.
