Local artists Todd Powelson and Anna West are launching a new art blog to promote the arts in Utah. The new website, www.artduh.com, celebrates everything in art from fashion to painting to sculpture to dance to handmade crafts. The blog will launch at the Craft Sabbath Mother's Day Show, May 2, 4 p.m., at Nobrow Coffee and Tea, 315 E. 300 South (801-554-1614).

"Clay-cation," a private pottery workshop offered at the Kimball Art Center, 638 Park Ave., Park City, allows participants to pick the day and the time. All supplies and tools are included.  Art Access/VSA of Utah announces its 10th Annual Art Workshop Series for adults titled "Recyled Plastic Recreated," May 22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
