WEST JORDAN — Oracle has resumed construction on a 180,000-square-foot data center, the Governor's Office of Economic Development said Thursday.
Construction began a little over a year ago and represents a $285 million capital investment by the company.
The company selected West Jordan after being offered a variety of incentives by GOED, West Jordan and others.
New state tax revenues from the facility are expected to exceed $50 million. The site is expected to have 100 employees, with the average salary projected to exceed twice the Salt Lake County average wage. New state wages are expected to top $73 million during the 12-year incentive period.
