SALT LAKE CITY — The Women Tech Council will have a social media summit from 7:30 a.m. to noon May 11 at Noah's, 322 W. 11000 South, South Jordan.
Titled "Building Trust in a Connected World," the summit will feature authors Chris Brogan, Julien Smith and Mitch Joel, each with 45-minute presentations plus a question-and-answer roundtable session.
Brogan is president of New Marketing Labs, a social media agency. Smith is an author, consultant and speaker involved in online communities for more than 15 years. Joel is president of Twist Image, a digital marketing and communications agency.
The cost is $65 for members, $75 for nonmembers. Each guest will receive a copy of "Trust Agents" by Brogan and Smith and "Six Pixels of Separation" by Joel. Details are available at www.womentechcouncil.org. Registration is limited to the first 200 people.
