PROVO — Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the speaker at Brigham Young University's commencement exercises today in the Marriott Center starting at 4 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on KBYU-TV (channel 11) and KBYU-FM (89.1).

In search of a Memorial Day column, I wandered into Memory Grove (who said columnists can't grasp the obvious?) and as I walked by the various war monuments, I came upon the best-looking structure there: the Meditation Chapel, which might have been transplanted straight from Athens.
