BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK — Officials want to build five new roadside pullouts for Bryce Canyon National Park visitors to watch pronghorn, prairie dogs, wild turkeys and other wildlife.
Park officials this week said they've completed an environmental analysis and are now proposing that the project move ahead.
The pullouts would be built along the park's main road, including in areas popular with visitors that don't have anywhere safe to stop. Three would be built near the park's East Creek Meadow.
Public comments on the plan are being accepted until May 15.
