RENO, Nev. — Mark Trumbo had the biggest game of his young Triple-A career with two home runs and four runs batted in to lead the Salt Lake Bees to a 9-6 win over the Reno Aces on Wednesday afternoon.

Trumbo belted a two-run homer to left field in the fourth inning to tie the game at 3-3 and then sliced another two-run shot just inside the right field foul pole to give the Bees a 5-3 lead. Trumbo would also double and score in the eighth inning.

Sean O'Sullivan (1-1) earned the win, as he allowed three runs in the first two innings and then did not allow another over his final 5-2/3 innings. O'Sullivan fanned nine Reno batters to equal his Triple-A career high, while walking two.

Salt Lake led 9-3 going into the bottom of the ninth, but the Aces scored three runs before Rafael Rodriguez got Brandon Allen to pop up and end the game with the potential tying run on deck. It was Rodriguez' third save of the season.

All nine members of the Bees' starting lineup had at least one hit with Aldridge getting three hits and two runs batted in to extend his hitting streak to six games.

Michael Ryan singled in his first at-bat to extend his streak to six games, as the Bees won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
