Utah tied the game at 1-1 6:16 into the first period as Malcolm MacMillan centered Peter Vandermeer on a two-on-one. James Sixsmith then gave Utah a 2-1 lead 14:24 into the first period with a shorthanded breakaway goal, as he cruised from the neutral zone to the Las Vegas net.
The scored stayed 2-1 until Utahs AJ Perry added a power-play goal 3:58 into the third period. Tim Crowder then finished the Utah scoring as he added his second goal of the series into an empty-net with 1:51 left in the contest.
