EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Tickets are now on sale for the first Pony Express Days rodeo.
The rodeo will be held in a soon-to-be built permanent arena at Pony Express Memorial Park.
This year's Pony Express Days celebration will include a rodeo pageant, Mutton Bustin' contest (a children's sheep-riding competition) and calf scramble (where youths ages 8 to 17 will try to grab a tag off a calf's tail).
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo will run May 27-29 and 31. Extra contestants will compete on May 28 at 9 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased for $8 for adults or $5 for children ages 3-12. They are available online through eaglemountaincity.com or at the Eagle Mountain city hall.
