SALT LAKE CITY — The IRS is reminding tax filers that free tax help is available at more than 50 sites in Utah.
Tax preparation volunteers can help prepare and electronically file 2009 federal and state income tax returns at no cost for people who cannot afford paid tax assistance, such as people whose incomes are $50,000 or less; seniors; the disabled; and individuals for whom English is a second language.
Details about locations, times and appointments are available by calling 2-1-1 or at www.utahtaxhelp.org.
