Josh DeFord has joined the executive team at Alliance Health Networks as vice president of product management. DeFord has more than 12 years of experience in software development and management.
Brad Merrill, Kimberly Neville and Nathan E. Wheatley have been elected partners in the law firm Snell & Wilmer. Merrill concentrates his practice in business and finance, general corporate and banking. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah. Neville's practice is concentrated in product liability and commercial litigation. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Wheatley concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, with an emphasis in commercial disputes.

David Tietjen has joined ViaWest as vice president and general manager, overseeing all sales and administration for the company's three regional data centers in Salt Lake City and the Lindon/Provo area. Tietjen previously was vice president of sales and marketing for a division of a South Jordan-based company. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University.
