LINDON — An Orem man was flown to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo in critical condition following a crash that shut down Geneva Road for about an hour Thursday.
Lindon police said the accident occurred when a passenger car driven by an older woman heading north on Geneva Road T-boned a smaller passenger car on the driver's side at the 400 North intersection about 5:20 p.m.
The driver of the smaller car, a man in his 30s, was flown to the hospital in critical condition. Of the three female passengers in the smaller car, two were transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center by ambulance with minor injuries.
The injured older woman was taken to Timpanogos Regional Hospital with minor injuries, Lindon Police Sgt. Josh Edwards said.
Geneva Road in both directions between 700 North and Center Street was shut down for about an hour.
