SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Democratic U.S. Rep. Jim Matheson has filed for re-election.
Matheson declared his candidacy Monday at the Utah lieutenant governor's office. Matheson is seeking his sixth term in office.
Four other candidates have filed to run for Matheson's seat.
They include Republicans Morgan Philpot and Ed Eliason, Randall Hinton of the Constitution Party and independent Dave Glissmeyer.
Candidate filing ends Friday.
