Start coughing and groaning about that contagious illness your kids gave you (yeah, that's it!) — this week is a prime chance to scout for that high Knick pick the Jazz get. Five extra things Jazz fans might watch for while recovering during March Madness:

1. Midwest Regional: Tons of talent here

Thank the Knicks for these potential Jazz picks*: Kansas — C Cole Aldrich and SG Xavier Henry; Ohio State — SG Evan Turner; Georgetown — PF Greg Monroe; Oklahoma State — SG James Anderson; Georgia Tech — PF Derrick Favors and PF Gani Lawal. Jazz connection: Just imagine how good Ohio State would be with junior center Kosta Koufos tearing it up (like he does in the D-League, not with the Jazz).

2. East Regional: Certainly not the least

Thank the Knicks for these potential Jazz picks: Kentucky — PG John Wall, C DeMarcus Cousins and PF Patrick Patterson; West Virginia — SF Devin Ebanks; Texas — PF Damion James and SG Avery Bradley; Wake Forest — SF Al-Farouq Aminu. Jazz connection: Wesley Matthews' Marquette guys face Washington.

3. South Regional: A somewhat slim selection

Thank the Knicks for this potential Jazz pick: Baylor — PF Ekpe Udoh. Jazz connections: You can bet the SLC chapter president of the Cameron Crazies, one Carlos Boozer, will go crazy for his Dukies (along with Dick Vitale, probably). The Jazz staff will be divided when the schools of assistant coach Phil Johnson (Utah State) and assistant trainer Brian Zettler (Texas A&M) play Friday. P.S. 15 seed Robert Morris isn't the same Robert Morris that Othyus Jeffers attended nor the one who played at BYU.

4. West Regional: See you 2 in Salt Lake City?

Thank the Knicks for these potential Jazz picks: Syracuse — SF Wesley Johnson; Florida State — C Solomon Alabi. Jazz connections: A Jazz Hall of Famer/statue model played at Gonzaga and the Jazz once employed ex-BYU center Rafael Araujo.

5. Don't forget us in the NIT and no tourney

Thank the Knicks for these potential Jazz picks: NIT: North Carolina — PF Ed Davis; Connecticut — SF Stanley Robinson; Nevada — SF Luke Babbitt. Czech Republic — SF Jan Vesley; Lithuania — PF Donatas Motiejunas; Marshall — C Hassan Whiteside; VCU — PF Larry Sanders; Fresno State — SF Paul George. Jazz connections: Paul Millsap's Louisiana Tech didn't make it, but he'll root for UAB, the school of his brother, Elijah. Deron Williams' Ilinois squad also landed in the NIT.

Just wondering...

What were wide-eyed Jazz players Carlos Boozer and C.J. Miles looking at when this photo was taken Friday?

A. A referee calling Miles (whaaa? who? me!?) for an offensive foul.
