OKLAHOMA CITY — The Jazz today said they have signed rookie forward Othyus Jeffers to a second 10-day contract, as it was fully expected they would do.

Jeffers has appeared in two games for the Jazz since being promoted from Iowa of the NBA Development League, but the Robert Morris-Chicago product did not play in last Wednesday's win at Detroit or Friday's loss at Milwaukee.

When Jeffers' second 10-day expires, the Jazz will have to decide if they want to guarantee his contract for the rest of the season or return him to Iowa.
