SALT LAKE CITY — Zane Beadles, a 2009 first-team All-American and four-year starting offensive lineman at the University of Utah, has been awarded a $7,500 scholarship by the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Committee.
Beadles, who is training in preparation for the upcoming NFL Draft, has until 2014 to use the award, which is intended for part-time or full-time postgraduate study at a university or professional school. He was one of 12 football players from all NCAA divisions selected for a post-graduate scholarship.
