PRICE — The Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team lost to North Idaho College 86-76 in the championship game of the Region 18 tournament. SLCC was trailing by 15 at the break and closed the gap to four points with two minuets left in the game but was unable to complete the comeback. The Bruins finish the season with a record of 26-6.
Haley Holmstead finished with 21 points, Dayna Burgess scored 10 points with nine assists and Sheila Adams had 13 points. Adams and Burgess were both named to the all-tourney team and Haley Holmstead was named SWAC player of the year.
