Salt Lake City's weekend weather picture will feature at least one good day, with partly cloudy skies and highs reaching the low 50s expected for Saturday.
According to Dan Pope, KSL meteorologist, the significant snowstorm that covered the Wasatch Front Friday morning with snow and rain showers moved eastward by midday.
"The next storm is splitting strongly and will end up in southern Utah and Arizona on Sunday," Pope said. "In the meantime, Saturday looks like a pretty nice day statewide."
Sunday's high temperatures will dip back into the upper 40s, and isolated rain is a possibility.
Temperatures will decrease to the mid-40s on Monday, with a chance of rain and snow again in the Salt Lake Valley.
The Salt Lake City International Airport received 0.20 of an inch of moisture on Thursday.
Tuesday is predicted to be partly cloudy with a high of 47 degrees. On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will rise to the mid-50s under mostly sunny skies.
The warmest day so far this year at the airport was Feb. 27 at 57 degrees.
