Church Women plan 'World Day of Prayer'

OGDEN — Church Women United in Utah will sponsor a "World Day of Prayer" today, 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 2350 Adams Ave.

Registration cost is $3.

Aglow to address recognizing miracles

MURRAY — "How to Recognize Miracles Every Day" will be the address by Heidi Wangsgaard today, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at a meeting of Aglow International. The meeting and breakfast will be at 213 W. 4800 South. Cost is $5 a person. For more information, call Michelle at 801-277-6409.

Scouts to receive religious emblems

SALT LAKE CITY — The Most Rev. John C. Wester, bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, will bless and award all Catholic Scouts with their religious emblems on today. Scouts must complete the necessary requirements and application process by Sunday. Unitarian Church plans 'celebration'

SALT LAKE CITY — The First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake, 569 S. 1300 East, will feature "Celebration Sunday" at 11 a.m. March 7. There will be only one service on this special Sunday.

'Passion' to be shown at St. Jude

MURRAY — St. Jude Maronite Catholic Parish will show "The Passion of the Christ" Sunday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at the parish, 4900 S. Wasatch St. (approximately 230 East).

Speaker to explore dinosaurs and Bible

BLUFFDALE — "Dinosaurs and the Bible" will be explored by Richard Stepanek of the Alpha Omega Institute on Sunday, March 14, 9 a.m. at Midvalley Bible Church, 13985 S. 2700 West.

The topic includes alleged evidence by Stepanek that humans and dinosaurs did exist together on the earth before the flood, how Noah got those big things on the ark and what happened to them after that. Also on March 14, Midvalley Bible Church will celebrate its third anniversary in Bluffdale. The occasion will be marked by a dinner following the 10 a.m. service.
