The governor of New York, David Paterson, seems to be on the brink of being impeached. He follows Eliot Spitzer, who was over the brink with prostitutes. In Albany, defense attorney should be a Cabinet position.

Also embroiled in multiple ethics problems, New York Congressman Charlie Rangel is taking some time off. To run for governor of New York, perhaps?

Meanwhile, over at New York's JFK Airport, an air traffic controller let his kid play around in the tower, guiding arriving and departing planes. No problem — the kid took off his shoes.

Although passengers don't know if a child is in the tower, it is always a good idea to check and see if the co-pilot needs a booster seat.
