WEST WEBER, Weber County — A West Haven, Weber County, man was transported by medical helicopter following a rollover accident involving a cement truck Wednesday morning, police said.
Clint Peterson, 29, was traveling north through an intersection at 1200 S. 3500 West in West Weber just before 10:30 a.m. and failed to stop at a stop sign, said Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Matthew Bell. Peterson's Ford Ranger truck was struck by a westbound Bob's Concrete cement truck, causing both vehicles to roll, Bell said.
Peterson was transported by medical helicopter to an area hospital in critical condition, while the driver of the cement truck was transported by ambulance.
Bell said there was no concrete in the truck at the time of the crash, and he was unsure whether either man was wearing a seat belt.
