SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police have released the name of a man killed in a three-car accident Monday.
Roy Charles Moorman, 52, was killed after his car was broadsided on the driver's side by a pickup truck at the intersection of Main and 3530 South, said South Salt Lake detective Gary Keller.
Authorities believe the driver of the truck drove through a stop sign, Keller said. The case was still under investigation Tuesday, and no charges have been filed.
The driver of the truck, a 50-year-old South Salt Lake man, was also taken to an area hospital in critical condition after the accident. He was later upgraded to stable condition, Keller said. The driver of a third car suffered minor injuries.
