SALT LAKE CITY — The state is seeking applications for a judgeship in 3rd District Court to replace Judge Stephen Roth, who recently was confirmed as a new member of the Utah Court of Appeals.
The 3rd District includes Salt Lake, Tooele and Summit counties.
Candidates must be 25 or older, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Utah for the past five years and able to practice law in this state.
Applications should be sent to Margo Bird, Administrative Office of the Courts, P.O. Box 140241, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-0241. Applications also can be faxed to 801-238-7814.
The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. on March 31.
