ATLANTA — Dirk Nowitzki scored 37 points, Jason Kidd had 19 points, 17 assists and 16 rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Atlanta Hawks 111-103 in overtime on Friday night for their sixth straight victory.
Kidd had his first triple-double this season and 104th of his career, third-most in NBA history behind Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson.
Joe Johnson scored 27 points for Atlanta, which dropped to 22-7 at home. The Mavericks won their 19th on the road, one more than their total last season.
KNICKS 118, WIZARDS 116, OT: At Washington, David Lee's layup with 1.6 seconds to play in overtime gave New York a victory over Washington. New York snapped an eight-game losing streak by surviving a bizarre overtime where the teams combined to miss 13 of their 16 field goal attempts. With the game tied at 116, Lee — who had both of New York's baskets in overtime — drove left and scored over JaVale McGee.
CAVALIERS 126, RAPTORS 118, OT: At Toronto, Mo Williams made back-to-back 3-pointers in overtime and finished with 22 points, LeBron James scored 36, and Cleveland beat Toronto. Antawn Jamison scored 22 points and Delonte West added 15 for Cleveland, which won its third straight. Anderson Varejao had 11 points and eight rebounds before fouling out with 2:12 left in the fourth quarter.
THUNDER 109, TIMBERWOLVES 92: At Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant scored 25 points, Russell Westbrook narrowly missed his second triple-double against the Minnesota Timberwolves in less than a week. Westbrook had 18 points, matched his own franchise record with 15 assists and also grabbed eight rebounds before being removed from the game in the final four minutes. Durant reached 25 points for the 30th time in 31 games.
BOBCATS 93, GRIZZLIES 89: At Memphis, Tenn., Stephen Jackson scored 32 points and grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds, helping Charlotte withstand a fourth-quarter rally and defeat Memphis. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for Charlotte. Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with 24 points and 10 rebounds. The loss was the Grizzlies' sixth in a row at home.
BULLS 115, TRAIL BLAZERS 111, OT: At Chicago, Derrick Rose scored 33 points and Luol Deng added seven of his 23 in overtime to lead Chicago past Portland.Brandon Roy's jumper with 3:46 left in overtime gave the Blazers a 107-106 lead, but Kirk Hinrich answered for the Bulls with a driving layup, Deng made a fadeaway jumper, and Joakim Noah found Taj Gibson for a layup to put the Bulls up 112-107 with 2:09 remaining.
