VANCOUVER — Park City's Brett Camerota was the first native-Utahn to earn a medal in the 2010 Olympic Games, but he may not be the last.

Nearly two dozen athletes born and raised in Utah and even more with Utah ties have represented the Beehive State well. Here is a list of the athletes, their hometowns, sports and either their accomplishment or when they will take on the world.

Native Utahns

Noelle Pikus-Pace, Orem, Skeleton, Finished fourth.

Zach Lund, Salt Lake City, Skeleton, Finished fifth.

Steve Holcomb, Park City, Bobsled. Defending World Champion in four-man, he finished sixth in two-man. He starts competing in Four-man Friday.

Shauna Rohbock, Orem, Bobsled. This BYU graduate finished sixth.

Billy Schuffenhauer, Ogden, Bobsled. This Weber State graduate competes with Driver Mike Kohn Friday and Saturday.

Chris Fogt, Alpine, Bobsled. Competes Friday and Saturday in four-man with driver John Napier.

Ted Ligety, Alpine skiing. Already the owner of a Gold medal from 2006, Ligety finished 19th in the Super G; he was 5th in the Super Combined; he was ninth in the Giant Slalom. His last chance for a medal in 2010 is the Slalom on Saturday.

Steven Nyman, Sundance, Downhill. Nyman finished 20th in the downhill.

Lacy Schnoor, Draper, Aerials. The Alta High graduate finished ninth on Wednesday.

Nate Roberts, Park City, Moguls. A Park City native, Roberts suffered more heart break when crashed on the Cypress mogul course and didn't earn a score.

Bryon Wilson, Park City, Moguls. Moved to Utah from Montana when he was in high school and finished third in the moguls.

Megan McJames, Park City, Giant Slalom. She finished 32nd in the Giant Slalom, which was delayed a day by heavy fog.

Anders Johnson, Park City, Ski Jumping. He placed 49th in Normal Hill competition.

Brett Camerota, Park City, Nordic Combined. He earned a silver medal in the team relay and finished 36th in the individual Normal Hill 10K sprint.

Transplants to Utah

Shannon Bahrke, Salt Lake City, Moguls. She won a bronze medal in moguls.

Jeremy Teela, Heber City, Biathlon. His best finish was ninth place in the men's biathlon 10K sprint.

Emily Cook, Park City, Aerials. This two-time Olympian shook off bruised heels to finish 11th in the women's aerials.

Jeret Peterson, Park City, Aerials. A Boise native, who lives in Park City won silver in men's aerials.

Ryan St. Onge, Park City, Aerials. A Colorado native, Ryan finished fourth in men's aerials Thursday.

Louie Vito, Sandy, Snowboard half-pipe. This native of Ohio now lives in Utah and he placed fifth in the half-pipe competition.

Speedskaters: Most of the U.S. Speed Skaters and short track athletes live in Utah at least part-time and train at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns. The most notable performance is that of Apolo Anton Ohno who has now earned seven medals in three Olympic Games, which makes him the most decorated U.S. Winter Olympian in history. He has one more race to compete in on Friday night.

The women's short track team won bronze in the team relay on Wednesday and Shani Davis has won a gold in the 1,000 meter and a silver in the 1,500 meter events. Texas-native Chad Hedrick won a bronze in the 1,000 meter race and finished fifth in the 1,500 meter.

Don't forget Torah Bright, who won the gold in the women's snowboard half pipe. Although she competes for and is originally from Australia, she currently lives and trains in Utah, and is engaged to a native Utahn.
