Some 50 car seats and 200 helmets will be given away this weekend at the annual Zero Fatalities Safe Kids Fair, scheduled Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State.
The free event provides educational materials and tips on how parents can prevent accidental injury and death.
Spider-Man will meet guests on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., 12:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
Sponsors include the Salt Lake Valley Health Department, Utah Highway Patrol and Primary Children's Medical Center.
