The Salt Lake Community College Writing Center will host a workshop on "Writing for Change: Civic Writing." Learn the techniques of civic writing, such as letters to editors and to public officials. Come with a concern; stay to write a letter with the help of CWC writing coaches. The workshop will be held March 16 at the Sprague Library and April 17 at the Chapman Library. The workshops will take place from 6-9 p.m. both days. There is no cost; however, registration is required online at www.slcc.edu/cwc or by calling 801-957-4992.
