Utah's Carlos Boozer, 5, leaves the court at the end of the third quarter against the Lakers in Salt Lake City earlier this month.

SALT LAKE CITY — Multiple national media outlets are reporting that the Utah Jazz are involved in some late deal-making talks to potentially trade Carlos Boozer.
ESPN.com, CBSSports.com and Yahoo.com have reported that the Jazz and the Miami Heat front offices have been talking about a possible swap that would allegedly include Boozer going to South Beach and big man Udonis Haslem heading to Utah.
NBA writer Ken Berger reported that his sources claim the Jazz and Heat are having "serious, owner-level" talks. The teams are apparently also trying to bring Washington into the picture to pull off a three-way trade built around those two players.
Wrote Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski: "Utah and Miami have recruited the Wizards to be third team in Boozer talks. Wash would get cap relief out of it. (Heat forward) Michael Beasley not involved, source says."
ESPN.com's Chad Ford wrote on the Web site this morning that the Jazz turned down one Miami offer. "Looks like Jazz are going to say no to Heat on Boozer. Heat made the effort, but aren't offering enough."
Wojnarowski is also reporting via Twitter that a front office executive involved in the discussions said "it's not going anywhere right now."
Added ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher: "There's nothing concrete yet, but Utah and Miami are in 11th-hour discussions that would send Carlos Boozer to Miami, sources say. Udonis Haslem has been the one consistent piece mentioned going to Utah, but one source said a third team might be needed to consummate the deal. Maybe now we know why the Heat cooled on the Suns' Amare Stoudemire."
Boozer attended practice this morning in New Orleans along with all other 12 Jazz players, and, as was previously reported by Tim Buckley, coach Jerry Sloan did not indicate that a deal was imminent.
