PROVO — BYU has received approval to expand one of the buildings at its Missionary Training Center.
The Provo Planning Commission this week approved a permit for a more than 40,000-square-foot, three-story building that will house clinics, a travel office and other services for the center.
It also will have rooms for senior missionaries.
The Missionary Training Center can accommodate up to 4,000 missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
