Weber State University, Department of Visual Arts, will host artist Angela Ellsworth Feb. 16, 7 p.m., at Lindquist Lecture Hall (KA120), Kimball Visual Arts Center.

Evergreen Montessori Academy will host its 2nd Annual Anything Art Gala with a silent and live auction at the AmerSports Building in downtown Ogden on Feb. 20. This year will feature two locals bands, live artists creating unique works for auction on-site, catering from Roosters and fabulous works of art from the children at Evergreen Montessori Academy. Tickets are $35 each or $60 per couple and can be ordered by calling 801-479-7799.

Central Utah Art Center is currently accepting applications for its annual juried art exhibition. Current Utah residents and artists with ties to Utah are invited to apply. All media is accepted. Salt Lake City Arts Council invites Utah artists to apply for 2010-11 Finch Lane Gallery Exhibitions. Artists who wish to be considered must submit materials by March 15 to Salt Lake City Arts Council, 54 Finch Lane. There is no entry fee. Art-O-Rama, sponsored by the Alliance for the Varied Arts, will run through March 5 at 35 W. 100 South, Logan. Forms for the public to vote on their favorite art will be available; an awards ceremony will be held March 6, 2 p.m.
