EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Several local authors will sign and read from their books in a special event Friday night.
Dragons & Fairy Tales, Eagle Mountain's new bookstore, will host seven Utah-based authors, including Eagle Mountain residents Jewel Armstrong and Rebecca Christiansen, authors of "My Dad's Hero."
Other participating authors include Jessica Day George, Sharlee Glenn, Bree Despain, Alison Randall and Kristen Landon.
The book reading and signing runs from 5-7 p.m. at 3535 E. Ranches Parkway, Suite A.

I found that out last week. In search of a Memorial Day column, I wandered into Memory Grove (who said columnists can't grasp the obvious?) and as I walked by the various war monuments, I came upon the best-looking structure there: the Meditation Chapel, which might have been transplanted straight from Athens.
