BOISE — The Jazz weren't the only Utah team to have a streak dashed as the Grizzlies five-game unbeaten streak ended on a 1-0 loss to the Idaho Steelheads.
Idaho (32-12-0-3) scored the only goal on a delayed penalty with 1:47 left in the second period as John Swanson knocked home a lose puck the Grizzlies (21-20-2-4) struggled to clear their own end for the only time in the contest.
Mark Derlago, who has been named the ECHL's Player of the Week in two-straight weeks, picked up an assist extending his scoring streak to 13-straight contests.
Utah goaltender Mitch O'Keefe stopped 32 of 33 shots in the losing effort and has now denied 91 of the last 97 shots he has seen in his last three games. The game marks just the fourth time this year that the Grizzlies have allowed three goals or less and lost, to drop to 20-4-2-2 in those situations.
The Grizzlies had two third period power-play situations, but were unable to convert and then pulled O'Keefe in the final two minutes in favor of an extra-attacker, but again were unable to score.
