FARR WEST, Weber County — A Farr West man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a female relative and two of her friends.
The alleged abuse came to light when one of the girls disclosed it to her parents, said Weber County Sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson. The parents brought their daughter to the sheriff's office and she led investigators to the two other girls the man is accused of abusing.
The girls are between the ages of 14 and 15, Anderson said, and told police that the man had begun abusing them in October.
"We have not closed the case out because we suspect there's more to it," Anderson said. "We've got some leads that there might be other (victims), so we're looking in to that."
Cody Clyde Campbell, 37, was booked Tuesday into the Weber County Jail for investigation of three counts of forcible sex abuse.
Campbell has been cooperative with investigators, Anderson said. He posted $30,000 bail and has been released from jail. No formal charges have been filed in the case.
