Three-point shots...

Jazz forward C.J. Miles: "Just finished practice ..... Now to do this stupid drug test. ... We get tested 4 times a year .... Every player." (Posted on Twitter, Friday. Miles didn't say how much studying he did for the test.)

Jazz guard Deron Williams: "It's gone. I feel lighter. I feel like I can jump higher." (Friday at practice after shaving his bushy beard into a tightly trimmed goatee. Might explain his soaring two-handed jam Saturday.)

Jazz CEO Greg Miller: "Just had lunch with Matt Harpring. My big take away: 'It was more important to me how I played than that I played.'" (Posted on Twitter, Thursday. Great message by former Jazzman. No word, though, on who picked up the tab.)

The big stat

100

Utah has won 100 percent of its games when it ... scores 110-plus at home (11-0); leading at home going into 4Q (18-0); plays at ESA on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (10-0); plays in February (3-0); all starters score 10-plus (6-0); is shown on TNT and allows between 80-89 points (4-0); scores more points than its opponents (31-0).

Who's Hot/Hotter

Paul Millsap

A beast during Boozer's absence; 9 double-digit scoring games in a row

Andrei Kirilenko

Amazing in last 10: 16.9 ppg (63.5 FG%), 7.5 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.4 bpg

Coming Attractions

On road? 8 straight Ws? Lakers at home the next night? Blaring sirens are warning of a potential trap game. Yes, really.

vs. Lakers, Wednesday, 7 p.m., FSN

L.A.'s varsity squad may be minus Kobe. Jazz fans only hope that deters all the Laker bandwagoners from buying tickets.

Guys better not unpack after having fun in Mexican and Miami sun. 11 of 15 games after All-Star break are on the road.

at Dallas, Saturday-Sunday, TNT

Busy homecoming weekend on tap for Deron Williams — Skills Challenge (Sat., 6:30 p.m.) and All-Star Game (Sun., 6 p.m.)
