Meetings planned on Jordan-east transition

Members of the Education Transition Team formed to create a new east-side Jordan School District will host two town meetings to give the public an update on the transition process and their findings from meeting with each School Community Council.

The public is invited to ask questions and give input. The first meeting is Wednesday at the Brighton High School Cafeteria, 2220 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South) in Cottonwood Heights. Midvale Middle School Auditorium, 7852 S. Pioneer St., will be the site for a May 15 meeting. Each meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
