Women's Conference: Tips for parenting adult children
"I had never heard of divorce," he told a workshop at the BYU Womens Conference Friday. Today, he said, one in two marriages ends in divorce. On television recently, he saw a "no-marriage marriage" being touted: no paperwork, no obligation, just live together.
Ivory, a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stake president, founder of Ivory Homes and chairman of the board of Deseret News Publishing Co., is also a former mission president.
He and his wife, Katie Stohl Ivory, chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Board and a member of the University of Utah Alumni Board and American Diabetes Board, presented "Parenting Adult Children: A Calling for Both Time and Eternity."
