Three Utah Pump-N-Run basketball teams combined for 12 wins in the prestigious Double Pump Spring Classic Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas, NV, April 25-27. The 17U team went 5-1 after advancing to the championship game and suffering an 80-78 last second loss to Pump-N-Run Elite of Los Angeles, which is coached by former UCLA NCAA Championship coach Jim Harrick and led by two Top-10 nationally-ranked players.

Ray Tapusoa (Granger) led Pump-N-Run in the championship game with 20 points while Brandon Davies (Provo) and Skyler Halford (Timpanogos) had 15 and 13, respectively. The 17U team advanced to the championship game after tough wins over Double Pump Elite of Los Angeles 67-64 on a 3-point buzzer beater in OT by Halford, Modesto Slam N Jam #1 101-68 with six players in double figures, LA Stars 73-64 behind 18 points from Kyle Collinsworth (Provo) and 14 points from Bronson Kaufusi (Timpview), Salt Lake Select 76-73 behind 24 points from Halford and SCA Elite 89-86 in OT behind Kaufusi's 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Other team members include Sean Carey (Bountiful), Ian Harward (Orem), Ryan Osterloh (Skyline) and Tyler Stahle (Woods Cross). Every player had a significant role in every game whether scoring, rebounding or shutting down an opposing star player, according to coaches Mike O'Connor and Todd Phillips.

The Utah Pump-N-Run 16U and 15U teams also advanced to the Final Four of their respective age brackets. The 16U team (3-2) includes sophomores Joe Bourne (Olympus), Trevor Brown (Timpview), Ryan Durrant (Provo), Tyler Fa'alogo (Jordan HS, CA), Neal Monson (Waterford), Sean Peterson (Orem), Will Walker (Lehi) and Josh VanWeezep (Davis). Coach Reid Monson noted that this team of future Utah prep stars more than held their own on the national stage while advancing past top AAU teams from Arizona, California and Nevada before losing in the Final Four.

The 15U team (4-1), which is coached by Jason Long, includes freshmen Colby Earl (Highland), Nate Ensign (American Fork), Peter Howey (Woods Cross), Sam Orchard (Highland), Morgan Hesleph (Juan Diego), Jaxon Knighton (West Jordan), Tanner LeBaron (American Fork), Chris Melville (Timpanogos), Zach Stanley (Lehi) and Zach VanLeeuwen (Timpview). Utah Pump-N-Run was the only national club organization to have multiple teams in the Final 4 across all tournament age groups.
